I was planning on selling it for $1400 but he offered $1800 so he can get it first before anybody else. I know it’s not in a mint condition (scratches and 3 years old) and $1400 is the perfect price for used D2X / D2Xs since a lot of other used equipment dealers still sell it at higher prices.

I really like D2X’s noise because it’s more realistic film look grain. D300 and D3 don’t have that film look grain unless I switch to 14-Bit RAW to get that kind of noise.

Not to sound like I’m trying to convince you to buy D2X from me – why don’t you try using gel filters with diffusion dome and tilted up 45 – 60 degrees?
You can avoid getting natural flash color (white) by using red, blue, yellow, green (etc.) gel filters.

the ISO is important to me, because of indoor events in low light, like last time, dance competition. we had a canon with f4 and iso 800 and times were 90-180. we had sharp pics only with flash, witch was terrible, because backlight was red+yellow+something
