Airport laptop battery dilemma?
Hey guys this is kind of urgent..
My sister wants to bring over an unopened macbook pro still in its box in her baggage. However, Airport regulations say that laptop batteries must be removed so that the laptop can be allowed in baggage right? We don't want to open the box and have to hand carry it so can we use the excuse that the battery is inbuilt and nonremovable?
I think they'll let us because the battery is nonremovable right?
The battery REALLY is nonremovable
You will carry it with you. It would be best to open it and put it in a case.
If you put it in checked baggage, it will probably not be there when you get to your destination.
